Visions of Eternity launches Oct. 28th

Get ready for the latest chapter of Guild Wars 2!

The next expansion for Guild Wars 2, Visions of Eternity, is on the horizon, and it's bringing a wealth of new content and features to the world of Tyria. The expansion is set to launch on October 28, 2025.

Prepare to journey to the remote and mysterious island of Castora to uncover an Inquest plot. This new adventure will unfold across two new open-world regions at launch, with two more maps arriving in later updates.

Here’s a look at what you can expect:

New Features & Content

• Elite Specializations: A new elite specialization for each profession.

• New Mastery Tracks: Three new Mastery tracks, including a Skimmer mount Mastery.

• New Legendary Rewards: Six new legendary items to earn: three weapons, a ring, an accessory, and an aquabreather.

• Challenging Encounters: Face new Raid Encounters with Challenge and Legendary Modes, a new Convergence, and a Fractal with a Challenge Mode.

• Housing Updates: Two new features for the new Castoran Homestead map: the ability to swap between Janthiri and Castoran maps, and a "Layouts" feature to save, load, and share decoration arrangements.

• New Rewards: Unlock new emotes, armors, weapons, recipes, and more unique rewards, with seasonal refreshes to the Wizard's Vault.

Looking for friends to explore the world of Tyria with? Join GmaFog every Saturday at 8:00 AM PT as we explore the far reaches while moving towards total world completion. This month we’ll be diving into Caledon Forest, Brisban Wildlands, Sparkfly Fen, and Mount Maelstrom.
