This next chapter sets sail for the uncharted island realm of Castora, bringing a wealth of new content that will undoubtedly create fresh opportunities for community adventure and cooperation.
Here’s what to look forward to:
New Elite Specializations: Prepare to learn a new elite specialization for every profession, shaking up the meta and giving you nine brand-new ways to play. Perfect timing for trying out new builds with your guildmates!
A New Homestead Map: For all our decorators out there, a new beachside homestead map is coming to Castora, along with a “Layouts” feature that lets you save and share your decoration designs. More space for the Family! (Requires Janthir Wilds ownership).
Upgraded Skimmer Mount: The skimmer is getting a significant overhaul with new Masteries, allowing you to dive and soar faster than ever. Get ready to explore the new waters of Castora in style.
Group Content: The expansion brings new challenging content, including two new Raid Encounters and a new Convergence with future updates, plus improvements to streamline access to group activities.
The launch is just around the corner, so start preparing your characters and clearing your calendars! We’ll be setting up public events to explore the new maps and tackle the content as soon as we can. Keep an eye on the Gaiscioch event calendar for our official launch activities!
Gaiscioch New Player Events a Huge Success
Our new player World Boss event and our Secrets of Tyria events have been introducing many new and returning players to our humble community. Be sure to welcome them and answer any questions they might have.
Over the past quarter, we have gone from around 300 active members to well over 450. This has proven to be an excellent way to get in front of new players who we can help show the way and introduce to the finer points of Guild Wars 2.
Be sure to come out and join the fun, supporting our community’s growth and helping some new players.
