Why Yustiel?

Yustiel, Aion’s Lady of Life, represents compassion, healing, and the belief that every life has value. Gentle yet deeply committed to protecting others, she regards the lives of friends and enemies alike as precious. She mourns the division of Atreia and longs for the world to be whole again—a hope that makes her a fitting symbol for a community built around bringing people together.

For the Gaiscioch Community, choosing Yustiel (NA East) as our home in Aion 2 reflects the spirit we bring to every adventure: welcoming newcomers, standing beside our friends, and protecting those who need a helping hand. We love the thrill of battle, but the friendships we build give those battles meaning. As we take flight with the Elyos, Yustiel offers a fitting banner for our next chapter—one rooted in fellowship, shared adventure, and the strength of a community that looks after its own.

Why Elyos

In Aion, we left the decision up to a poll to decide which faction we would play. It was a close split, and we ended up going Asmodian. This, however, made those who voted for Elyos leave the community and do their own thing. This was one of those moments in leadership when you learn that the bane of democracy is division. This hurt our community tremendously, and in the end the adventure would shutter just a couple of months after launching.

This time, I’m doing it the Gaiscioch way, where I simply decide where we’re going and if people want to come along, they're welcome to. No animosity, no scorn, no hurt feelings, no division. This way has helped make every game we’ve launched a bit smoother. We learned from that lesson and have evolved from it.

We spent a lot of time on the Asmodian side over the months we played there and want to explore the other side this time. So we figured, let’s look on the bright side and see where things go.

Everyone is welcome to join us if they like, and if not, we wish them many fun adventures wherever they end up. We’ll always have a door open for them if they need some friends to play with.

Conqueror’s Blade 2.0:
Three Kingdoms Reinvents Warfare

Saying it’s another season in Conqueror’s Blade is a gross understatement. The newest version of Conqueror’s Blade rebuilt the game from the ground up. New Graphics, New Engine, New Mechanics, New World Map, New always-on Territory Wars system, 4 New Weapons, 4 Reimagined Weapons, a new Faction system, and much, much more. This is the equivalent of when Guild Wars became Guild Wars 2 without calling it a new game or expansion. The whole game in its entirety is different. So different it has its own client.

As a precaution, Booming, in its wisdom, decided to run the Existing Conqueror’s Blade with the new units and weapons alongside the new 2.0 version for a season just in case all hell broke loose and the world hated the new version. This is something I wish more developers would do when pushing sweeping changes onto a successful game. We’ve seen it go wrong more times than it goes well. A few others that have pulled this off successfully are Final Fantasy XIV, No Man’s Sky, Albion Online and Black Desert. All of these found that sometimes your game just needs to change directions and pivot to come out on top.

Gaisicoch plans to launch a 2.0 version of the community alongside its main classic version so that we can see the new features in action before they inevitably come to the original game. This marks a whole new era of siege warfare, and the best siege warfare game available is stepping it up a notch to give games on the horizon like Anvil Empires, Camelot Unchained, Mithrall, and Bellatores a run for their money.

In addition, the next big update on the horizon for Guild Wars 2 is the April 14, 2026, Balance Update, which is being dubbed the “Nerf Giganuke” by the community. Following the launch of the Visions of Eternity expansion, this patch is a direct response to the massive power creep that saw support builds hitting 40k+ DPS and top-tier specs pushing 50k. The primary focus is reigning in “egregious” expansion builds across all professions—particularly targeting the Elementalist, Necromancer, and Engineer—to prevent players from skipping critical mechanics in raids and fractals. Beyond the heavy-handed balance tuning, the update also brings refinements to the Fashion panel (including new right-click “Get Equipped Fashion” options) and carries forward the WvW War Score overhaul from March, which significantly increased the value of escorting and killing dolyaks to encourage more active map participation.

Where Winds Meet

Enshrouded continues working towards their official release this fall. In their new video, they discuss new weapon attack styles, new dodge roll iframes, being able to rebind the glider key, and new accidental cliff protection to keep you from falling off cliffs when attacking enemies.
